This book is so amazing. Rarely write book reviews besides my own Bookstagram account but this is exceptional. I love Fantasy reading so much(although i have read Mortal Instruments series,The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings series and ofc Harry Potter series, i cherish all the characters) After a long time of reading Self-help books(i won’t recommend others and also I don’t like much but rn they’re important) Non fiction, Physics and Historical Fiction...getting a chance to read this is such a delight. I was really frustrated when I realized I was not living in the world that i was enjoying at that moment. It’s also unbelievable that there is a real place out there, a different world, different people, different society.
This books is about two friends living in different lives with different ambitions. They have Different perspectives on life and different ways to fight. But there is an invisible unbreakable bond(& their love of books)between two friends.(i love them so much bc i never had a true friend) This book is about Friendship, love, relationship, life, troubles, happiness and courage.
Do you remember the feeling after a Light Reading?
The characters spent their lives so quickly so easily, they grew up in a second like they never had to struggle much like we do today. When i was reading this book time’s suddenly slow down. The friends become to grow bigger together with me.(People find i m so picky! Character development is everything, isn’t it?)
That’s why i love this books a lot. There are many places mentioned in the book. Wherever the author took me i went along with the characters(via search engines). I know everyone will love these pieces of art by a very inspiring author Elena Ferrante bc i know we all are tired and we all need a break for sure.
Just a reminder: This fantastic series is turned into HBO series. The cast, the scenery, the costumes, everything everything is more than perfect.
P.s, I m now learning Italian(jk lol)

A book about female friendship , finding and defining oneself and the complexities and nuance of human existence. This book contains the entire ocean in a single drop. Ferrante’s literary voice is uniquely singular. I relished this series
