The audiobook narrated by Samantha Brentmoore, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais and Teddy Hamilton, is amazing!
I laughed so many times.
This Full cast narration is pure joy 😍
Thank you Lauren for writing the best lovable characters (for each book).
The banter between the guys is perfect.
I will never hear “May I?” In the same way. Ever.
It’s a sweet hockey romance.
Trope:
- RH (FMMM)
- found family
- they fall first
- independent FMC
- cat rescue ❤️
I was really surprised and I had a blast while listening to the bonus audio with all the cast laughing 😂

Not my favorite book; the synopsis/ setup for the book made me hopeful, but the story felt flat and lacking in depth. I’m also annoyed enough with the author’s bizarre takes on common turns of phrase and unnecessary use of obscure vocabulary that just don’t fit with the rest of her writing style. I don’t think I’ll seek out this offer again, but the book was still lighthearted and did mostly keep my attention.

When Briar comes home from an out-of-town conference. She’s taken by surprise when she finds all her belongings in a trash bag, her “boyfriend” Steven’s new girlfriend has moved in and stolen her cat. That’s when Hollis, Gavin, and Rhys three hockey superstars come to her rescue in more ways than one.
This was a fun read! Lauren does a great job of exploring polyamorous relationships. I love that each character is unique and has their own relationship with Briar. Hollis, Gavin, and Rhys were so sweet to Briar. I thought that they were all three so thoughtful towards Briar and her situation. They were all eager to help her learn not only about herself but also about how she deserves to be treated by a man. If you’re looking for a fluffy funny and spicy book, I’d highly recommend this series.
