this man spent the entire book trying to convince her that dating a colleague didn’t have to end in disaster and the she should give him a chance and then when she did he suddenly was the “wattpad bad boy who breaks up with the heroine because they don’t deserve her” trope reincarnated

Thank you to Tara September for allowing me to read a copy of this book. I cannot express how much this book was read at a wonderful time. I had SO MUCH fun listening to this. I was invested with these characters and the story. And Tara September has a way of writing things that just brings it to life, especially when reading it via audiobook. I just really loved my read and I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR SUMMER. This would definitely be a beach read for me. I cannot wait to continue reading more from Tara September.

This is a fun, entertaining, quick read. Adam and Eve are interesting, intriguing, entertaining, relatable, complex, wounded characters. Their romance is fun to read with the path it takes to get to their HEA. I enjoyed the trip aspects of the story as well. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story and my enjoyment. The story is easy to read and get into.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Operation Garden of Eden was a go, and he had seven days to make headway or return home a lonely failure. What did he have to lose?
Eve puts up boundaries. Adam breaks them down. Eve says no relationships with co-workers. Adam's playing for keeps.
Eve is a travel writer for a newspaper. Adam is a Pulitzer-Prize-winning war journalist who has never been on a cruise. When her pompous ex-fiancé shows up, Adam agrees to a fake relationship, and the sexy hot flirting begins.
Eve's happy enthusiasm for life is a great compliment to Adam's serious past and his avoidance of opening up. Eve is a little in awe of Adam and his accomplishments so she is surprised at Adam's confession that he is attracted to her. Her self-confidence was damaged due to her douche of an ex, but she has found a true fan in Adam. I love Adam's teasing humor and his unending support of Eve's career. He is sincere and extremely noble as we discover toward the end of the book.
I am delighted to recommend this absolutely adorable romantic comedy. There is the right amount of romance and lightheartedness as well as more serious undertones without going over the top.
Thank you to Ms. September for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.

Fun! Fun! Fun! This romcom had me laughing and falling in love! Eve is given the job of a lifetime. A week long cruise where she has to write a travel piece on her experience. Just when she thinks it's the best thing ever, her boss sends Adam to come along and collaborate with her. These two have obvious chemistry, and it could be a dangerous trip. Making the best of it, things can only get better right? Eve's ex is also on board, trying to woo her back. Now what is she going to do? I loved this! Tara September had me laughing out loud while falling in love. It's fun to have characters you love to hate and others impossible not to love. It's quirky, funny and romantic pushing all the right buttons for a wonderful listen.
Hollie Jackson delivers a marvelous performance. She has great comedic timing and her voices are exactly as I would assume the characters to sound like. Each one has a fitting personality. The narration is enjoyable and highly recommended.

Do the Cha-Cha
Even though the ending felt rushed, I enjoyed listening to this book. There were silly and serious moments as well as some sizzle and dirty talk. Adam and Eve were quite the pair, even if she tried to fight it.

This was my second time reading a book by this author and while I really enjoyed the first one, after reading this I don’t think I’ll be reading anymore. This was just not my kind of thing. I felt disconnected from the characters and I didn’t sense any chemistry between them. It was just bland.
