Excellent resource for fans of men’s adventure fiction. Think “The Executioner” or “The Destroyer” or authors such as Jack Higgins, or Alistair MacLean. The reviews are professionally written and pack a lot of information within them. These are not mere plot synopsis reviews but rather contain real insight into the books, the authors, and even the publishers.

Justin Marriott has done another wonderful job of bringing together different voices to review a well-rounded selection of the genre. This is probably meant to be a resource that you dip into now and again rather than to be read from cover to cover. However, I read the first review and just kept going and read them all. I’ve heard of many of the books and series included and some I’ve even read, but there are quite a few that are more obscure. Best of all, reading these reviews has instilled a sense or urgency to sample more of these types of books.
