Just an okay dragon shifter novel. Sappy insta-love. A good book to read if you need a break after reading something dark and disturbing. I got about 75% through and didn't finish because I already knew how it would end.

I'm starting to love Lauren Smith's writing style and these dragon shifters. Just the way how the story unfolds is an interesting read for a sweet spot quick audio. I'm so glad Rurik got added to the package because that is next up.

Loved it!

Loved It! Loved It! I freaking looooovvvveeeee dragons! I can't say enough about how I love these Russian Imperial Dragons. This is Mikhail's story and how he was finally able to get his hoard back and restore honor to the Barinov name after 500 years. He finds a mate in Piper, a gemologist. Together they are able to thwart an old enemy and live HEA! 5 stars!!!!

Mikhail was an awesome read filled with treachery, betrayal, intrigue, sexy times, a bit of action and adventure. I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to reading the other books in the series.
