What a wonderful collection of assorted tales. I have some fave authors in here and a discovery of new to me writers that I can't wait to follow up with.
I'm Australian so didn't know where this town was, but I've certainly heard of some of the famous characters. I enjoyed reading about Hickok and Calamity Jane among others.
Each story was a sweet taste of this town of Deadwood, we had shoot outs, rodeos and small town life. I wished some were longer, but there was always the next story to sink into.
Thanks to the authors for writing for a good cause.
I highly recommend this book.
