Ok, I ate this up! Yes, it was slightly tropey, but it was so easy to read and I absolutely fell in love with Summer and Aiden.
The review on the front cover summed this up perfectly. If you love Icebreaker and The Deal, then I think you would have a fun time with this.

Love a MMC who is sweet and falls first and hard. Always enjoy a hockey romance. This one was just fine. Lots of spice. A cute group of side characters. Very college HEA hockey enemies to lovers. But not my favorite in this genre

I really enjoyed their relationship!! I do wish there had been a little more development from their lives outside of the relationship, but I really enjoyed the ending. Donny made me want to punch him in the face all the time!! Summer and Aiden were great characters and it was really fun to see their relationship develop through all the stages. Summer’s stubbornness reminded me of my own and I loved it!! It was great to see their personalities play off one another! I cannot wait for more from Bal Khabra!

Summer + Aiden
Omg this book is so good!!! Aiden is such a swoon-worthy MMC and the way he understands Summer so well is amazing. I love Summer as an FMC because she is unapologetically smart & strong. They are so perfect together! You also get the added bonus of Aiden’s hilarious teammates/friends as well as Summer’s. I’m hoping there’s going to be a series focused on Aiden’s core friends/teammates!
