I really enjoyed these stories because I love mythology. You can tell that they are juvenile books, but they are action-packed and entertaining.

Read this series when I was little kid between the 5th-9th grades. I would stay up till forbidden hours (actually forbidden I had a bed time) reading till I couldn’t no more.

We didn’t have a lot of money so my mom buying me the books as they came out means a lot more now to me that I know how much they truly costed her. I’d like to think these books and reading in general as a kid are the reason why I ended up doing good in school and being where I am now.

Loved this series growing up and it sparked my love for religion and mythology. I refuse to tolerate any slander and they’ll always have a special place in my heart.

Hoping my I can reread them now that I am 10 years older but they’re longggg.

Awesome

I love Percy Jackson. Bought this for a reread of the series and I love it all over again. Can't wait for the TV show to explain all this lore and history.

I was a big fan of Greek mythology as a young teen, and Percy Jackson is a really fun introduction to Greek mythos for kids and teens, but also a fresh take for adults who already know the stories.

The world is full of gods and magic, which the characters navigate using their demigod abilities and friendship. All in all a fun and adventurous tale that will captivate young readers for many books.

Zach's class at school started reading the first book in this series together and Zach came home so excited! I had purchased the first four (the last is still in hardcover) from Scholastic in October, so he quickly sped past where his class was at, and ate up the other four before New Years. We couldn't get him to put the books down! Where's Zach? Upstairs reading. So I had to know what was so great.

These books are written for the 5th-7th grade age and are SO enjoyable! Riordan brings Greek Myths into present day life with humor and action that are hard to put down. The characters are wonderful, the writing excellent. I have to reccommend this book to anyone who enjoys juvie fiction (such as Fablehaven or Harry Potter, yes, I said it...nothing beats Harry, but this is close!).

Adam and I both flew through these like Zach, anticipating each chapter and every book.
