Very sweet story, good for a lighthearted read or palate cleanser! The dad could still use a little bit of work in his understanding imo, he ends up saying some insensitive/homophobic things out of ignorance :(( . The mom is super supportive tho which sooo sweet QvQ.

This series is very enjoyable! The stories are short so it's the perfect thing to read when you do not have a lot of time. The characters are easy to love, they are just so expressive and I enjoy getting to learn more about their personalities and lives. Some of the characters make me mad. The dad is very homophobic. When I first got into this series I had hoped he would grow as a person and do better but even in the 4th book he is still a disappointment.
The art style is very cute. I love how expressive the characters can be, it really shows how they feel in the moment. The little afterwards from the manga-ka are nice too. I enjoy getting a peek into his life!
