I put this on my TBR list because I love the cover and also because it was a dark romance but I really was confused about this whole story line in this book. I may read the other book in the series but it may be a min before I get to them

I instantly forgot what this books was about. That or I just pass out and slept through it because damn that was boring. And also this is not and enemies-to-lovers. Not even a hate to love, not even a dislike to love. Boring.

I'm pretty confused on what is going on and why exactly the crows dislike the FMC so much. While this book doesn't span a lot of time, it is action packed. I just feel like the storyline isn't cohesive. Hopefully book 2 is better!

Loved this. The only thing I love more than morally gray MMCs is a morally gray FMC. This why choose has murdery guys (rook, corvus + grey) and a very murdery lead gal (AJ). I also loooove when the misunderstood bad guys use their murdery ways for the ‘greater good’ even though no one knows that. And that cliffhanger… can’t wait for the next one.
