I loved returning to Callie's world and reading how Callie is coming into her own and fulfilling the prophecy. This was a little more drama filled than the last book, with people not communicating or straight up lying to each other and that got a little frustrating. Especially when a particular person is part of said prophecy... I was just shaking my head like just tell him girl. You should have just let him keep his memories after everything went down in book one. 

The love triangle is a little more in your face in this second book as well, add in a another character who Justin has his eyes on and it became a crooked love square. 

Callie pulls through in the end and the ending seemed like there could be more in this series? Maybe Callie's adventures aren't over yet!
