I read a chapter of this book each morning with my three oldest children (17, 15, 12). They loved it. I loved it. An inspiring call to examine one's life and ask what love would do.

Absolutely loved this book, it really makes you think and then hopefully act. Praying through what the next step means for me and what dreams God has put on my heart that I've put on the back burner or forgotten in the midst of everyday stresses and self focus. I'm a planner, so this kind of living in whimsy could be difficult, but sitting idle is no longer an option.

I got this book from my friend. It took me awhile to read it but it was so good. I was underlining things and writing in the book. I highly recommend this author.

great sentiment in this book, and was really convicting/inspiring in a lot of ways. I had some problems with some of the stories and didn't see how they could be relatable to an average person — it felt somewhat alienating and a little far-fetched when connected to the idea for that chapter. some of the truths felt a little watered down, but I appreciated the childlike faith displayed.

Wow. If you want proof that you can live full front and love deeply this is it. I loved loved this book. I'm excited to rock out and move through the world. My only thing I'd be curious about is about how he sets boundaries for himself or his family, but this book was just phenomenal. Get it as a gift for anyone who has a party coming up, or just as a hey, here you go. Great great book.

Read for the second time out loud with the boyfriend. To quote veggie tales- “I laughed, I cried, it moved me Bob!”

DNF. Felt surface level at best and full of very basic platitudes. I wanted to love it given the reviews, and I love the emphasis on love as a verb but it felt more like "here is my life.. and here's a way I can twist this into something about scripture" over and over. The story of him courting his wife honestly had me cringing the whole time. It's an easy conversational read but couldn't get past another chapter that felt like different story same point after 10 in a row of exactly that.

Each chapter brings a new lesson how our lives can shine for Jesus. I loved this book!
