I usually read NR Walker for low angst, fluffy books, so this was a real turn for me with such a violent plot. I enjoyed it, and even with all of the running across the globe and Yunho always magically having a solution, it was fun. The antagonist plot also wasn’t so overdone, and was believable enough in a book world.
Asher and Harry played off each other really well, all bravado and stoicism, lots of opposites attracting. I didn’t really enjoy the focus on rough sex between them. I don’t think the entire timeline of them from Madrid to Yunho’s was all that long, but I’ll accept that what they went through and their similar pasts was enough to forge a lifetime bond.
