One of the most vibrant, emotionally resonant books I’ve read this year. Brilliant!

This book definitely focuses more on relationships than a forward driving plot.
I think it did a good job with relationship development and changes over time. But there were actions and motivations that I didn’t understand that made it hard to fully care.
I think the queer representation, of a man in Seoul, with an STI was handled well, but beyond what it does for representation, I’m not sure it’s rank it pretty high.

“I wish you would apologize to me for once in my life. About trampling on my heart that time. About giving birth to me this way, raising me this way, then deciding to push me away into a place I can’t come back from, into a world of ignorance and being ignored, I wish you would apologize for that.”
