Good, but little bit predictable conclusion to the Kanin Chronicles. This series was much better than its predecessor. Also I liked Bryn and Ridley more than Wendy and Loki.
I recommend this series even if you haven't read Trylle Trilogy!

Trylle Trilogy is one of my all-time favorites and I was so excited to back into the world and experience a new adventure. I did enjoy this book but not as much as Trylle. It just lacked something. Don’t ask me what cause I don’t know but it needed a little something more to really make it memorable for me. After reading this trilogy I don’t remember too much. Just a few minor details here and there.

That was an insane rollercoaster of emotions like the books before. I really love this this world and all of the the unique elements it brings. I also can't help but feel nostalgic every time the Trylle are mentioned or Queen Wendy appears.
+sidenote
Bryn is a great character and so mature which makes this book feel not very YA (Bryn is 19 so does that still count as YA?). There are also more mature themes of marriage, pregnancy and Career progression that you wouldn't expect in a YA. This may be in part because of the way this fictional society works but it still makes me think this book is not YA.

My Review: OMG, after taking my time reading this book I have to say I loved it. I drank in the story and the different troll groups and relationships. I loved every single character... from Mr. Black and Bryn, to Riley, to Ember. What a story! I will be reading the Tyelle series too, very soon!

I enjoyed this one a lot more than the second. It had more heart/relational elements to the story telling.
"Son of a *****,” _________ said, and I looked over to see him coming in from a corridor off to the left of the hall. He looked up at Bloom, shaking his head.
“What?” I looked up to make sure Bloom was okay, but the horse seemed fine.
“I told you that you couldn’t come in riding on a horse like a white knight, and so you had to go and prove me wrong.” He smirked at me.
Literally laughed out loud at this exchange.
