I read the first book in 2018 and loved it, and many years after, I finally picked this one up. While I didn't enjoy it as much as the first one (perhaps because it caught me in a reading slump and my mood changed from craving urbam fantasy to craving high fantasy), I still really enjoyed the turn the plot took, and I am really excited to read the third book as soon as possible! Also, I love these four kids.
