no encuentro las palabras perfectas para describir lo desnuda y conmovida que me sentí leyendo este libro. me guardé y resalté demasiados párrafos y frases de este texto que reflexionan sobre la existencia humana y el amor, específicamente de una mujer enamorada de otra mujer, puesto en la forma más bella y poética que he leído.
no puedo evitar creer que hay algo de autoreferencia en esta ficción de parte de la autora, me es imposible creer que fue capaz de inventar vínculos, situaciones y sentimientos tan reales y específicos que yo misma he vivido, al igual que muchas otras mujeres, y que no haya algo de realidad vivida en ellos.
*hay un desvarío muy fuerte casi al final con tintes de canibalismo romántico y delirante que son muy fascinantes de leer tbh !
overall, una lectura recomendadísima para leer algo distinto y ampliar horizontes o si buscan literatura sáfica/queer algo underrated o no tan conocida/hablada.

Possibly the most beautifully-written book I’ve ever read. Gender of the narrator is never revealed, so forces the reader to either make assumptions of deconstruct them completely. A must-read for those interrogating their relationship with gender and sexuality.

The first time I read this book, I found it mindblowingly beautiful and haunting.
Rereading it today for the third time shows me two things :
- some passages are still as mindblowingly beautiful
- the rest can be pretty strange and uncanny, almost too weird for my taste now??? Maybe the end parts helped me cope with some of my own trauma then, idk.
But still much impressed with the genderless narrator fit and the raw sensualism.
