I just finished this 5⭐️ beauty, and what a wild ride it was! If you like your London old-timey, your main characters flawed, your monsters diverse, and your mysteries mysterious you’ll enjoy the crap out of this book like I did.

I adored Jon’s writing style. It’s beautifully descriptive without being overly flowery, which kept my ADHD brain engaged. The vocabulary is diverse but I never felt confused or talked down to.

I can’t wait for the next instalment!
