The best Poe and Bradshaw book to date! Wow this was so good and way darker than any of the previous ones.

Don’t try and figure out who done it, go with the flow and enjoy the wild ride you will go on.

I was not prepared for the twist and turns that this book took but my god were they good. This series is now one of my absolute favourites. Can’t wait for the next book!

This series is absolutely brilliant.
Everyone should read this series. This is book 6/6. A new book due later this year, 2025.
Poe and Tilly are brilliantly written once again. Old characters from previous books are in this which is great.
Just be warned it gets to be a tough read in places.

This is the darkest of the series so far, but M.W. Craven delivers again. The hate crimes and child abuse are extremely triggering for many people and the more somber attitude of Poe and Tilly in this particular novel is more out of respect, due to the nature of the crimes and ultimately those real-life police officers who have to deal with these problems, respect to them. There were a couple of amusing remarks when Poe addresses Linus AKA "Snoopy", but in general it brilliantly written and fast paced, as we come to expect from Craven.

De meest duistere Poe tot nu toe. Wat een twist aan het eind, die zag ik niet aankomen.
