We listened to this book on CD during our road trip. My daughters and I agreed it was one of the funniest stories we’ve listened to/read in awhile. I don’t know that I could have done this book justice reading it out loud to my kids, or in my head, as the actor who did the reading was phenomenal.

We give it an A+++! 😉

What a charming story about an imaginary friend who discovers he is imaginary and embarks on a journey to find love and acceptance. This is a really sweet story that would make a wonderful read-aloud for 2nd-3rd grade.

Cute book about discovering who you truly are and how the people who you surround yourself with contribute to you becoming you.

The hilarious story of jacques Papier who suddenly finds out that he is an imaginary friend, rather than a person who frequently gets ignored. This book was a ton of fun!

I listened to this audio on a road trip with a 9 year old and 12 year old. We all fell in love with Jacques Papier! This is a clever story full of heart, humor, and wisdom. The bonus of the audio is hearing Jacques' sweet accent.

Super cute story that has philosophy similar to "The Little Prince", and is entertaining for readers both young and old

To be honest, I didn't find this book deep and meaningful as many other reviewers did, although it definitely was very sweet and parts were touching. I just got a chuckle out of an extremely French imaginary friend, suffering from ennui.

A super cute easy read that took no longer than a day I think this would be a good read aloud to younger kids or even to themselves I'm sure they will feel immersed in the world also there were great lessons that were given in the most straightforward non-subtle way.

Basically, there are these imaginaries who are imaginary friends for little kids and bring joy and safety one day Jacques Paiper realises that he is imaginary (yeah they're not born knowing they think they are real) and wants to be free he does and gets to child after child and so on...

I've been reading to many middle-grade books MUST NOW ORDER MORE YA! (you know it's super cool cos YA are my initials...)
