It was an easy and quick read, which I enjoyed, but it is definitely dated and has not aged well. There’s lots of little things that are not okay to say anymore (or ever but didn’t raise editors’ eyebrows at the time of publication!) If you can get past that, it’s a cute book. Dash is super pretentious and annoying, and Lily is ~not like other girls~ but that’s kind of their charm.
