This is such a great series. I have only read book one and now this one, but they were both great and I will definitely be going back for the rest.

16 years ago Detective D.D. Warren arrested a teenage girl Evie for shooting her father. Now years later Evie is again the main suspect in the death of her husband. Meanwhile Flora who works as an advocate for sexual victim survivors recognizes Evie’s husband as someone she met when she held captive by Jacob Ness. Along with her friend Quincy D.D Warren tries to unravel the tangle of secrets and lies where nothing is as it seems.

Never Tell is the 10th book in the Sergeant D.D. Warren series by Lisa Gardner but can be read as a stand alone. Told from three different perspectives of strong women D.D., Evie and Flora it is an excellent psychological thriller with lots of secrets and twists and turns that keeps misleading the reader An engrossing entertaining twisted read which I would highly recommend to all psychological thriller lovers

I would like to thank Emily Canders , Penguin Random House for providing an ARC of this book through Netgalley in exchange for my honest and fair review.

4.5✨ because I predicted the twist, but I absolutely loved this.

A perfectly average procedural mystery. Good pacing and action scenes. The female leads were all pretty well-written, but they were also all blonde and white! Some diversity would’ve been nice. I predicted the ending midway through, so that was also a little disappointing.

This was a solid Lisa Gardner novel. A big fan of Find Her, I was pleased to see Flora Dane reappear in this universe. Her character, combined with the other two main points-of-view, was very dynamic and kept me reading. This would have been five stars for me, but the ending didn't quite come together in a way that left me totally satisfied. My questions were mostly answered, but I found some things a little unbelievable, too convenient, or wrapped up too quickly. Very good overall, though!

Excellent reading. Lisa Gardner's writing is very engaging, and her protagonists are genuine. "Never Tell" weaves its tale among three main characters, Flora, D.D. Warren, and Evie. Each with their own complex story. Gardner brings these protagonists together in a compelling, "cannot quit reading" way.
