I didn’t think I would like these books.
I usually don’t read horror but I would definitely classify these as horror/romance?.
This book was way better than the first and I couldn’t put it down today. Definitely reading the last book when I get it.

Loved it, read it in two sittings (only because I was at work).
They just know how to keep you in it, in the world, in the story, in the romance, in the horror, in the thrills. On to the third. Hope it can keep up.

Ok, so I'm not sorry that I decided to continue reading this series. Still not good enough to rank as one of my favourites, but not bad either. The romance portion of the plot started out abominably cliché in the first book, using that dreaded word (that I've come to loathe), "luscious" on a couple of occasions. This 2nd book didn't repeat that crime, which raised its quality in my mind, lol. I have to admit, I'm liking the different take on the age-old (and sometimes overdone) vampire storyline that this series offers.
