This book should’ve been called Swoon!

There’s one word that was predominant in my mind while reading this book, SWOON. I swooned for gorgeous, tea-drinking Brit Gabriel, I swooned at how Sophie knew just how to care for him, I swooned at their nicknames, I swooned at their cuddling, well you get the drift. He’s unapproachable, bossy, and controlling, she’s talkative, emotional, and prefers to go with the flow. They’re opposites in every way, but both are lonely souls who are meant to find each other.

And Holy slow burn Batman! The chemistry between those two was oh-my-scorching, but you’re made to wait for the payoff. And what a bone-meltingly sexy wait it is. Meanwhile, I also swooned at the camaraderie within the guys and their adorable antics. So just go read it for all the feels and the swoons.

Hero was awkward and a bit of a cold fish but he warmed up in the end due ton our funny quirky heroine. It shouldn't work but it totally did.

Fun page turner.

The grumpy one is soft for the sunshiney one!
This was cute, though the hero needs therapy. It's always funny when people write these masters-of-the-universe type characters, and like... if those dudes aren't wearing suits they are just undateable jerks. Why does a suit make this behavior ok? Capitalism, I guess. The settings in this book seemed to be based on magazine advertisements for fancy watches... a band tour! rich people vacation in Italy and rent a Ferrari and a moped! London hotels of the rich and famous!
People keep talking about this book, I'm glad I read it, I will probably read more by this author, but... ergh.

I wanted to love this book, but I don't know something was missing for me.

I read the first 50% in one day. I was utterly transfixed waiting for something big to happen between Gabriel and Sophie, but nothing happened. They didn't get involved/DTR until around 70% in. So, that was a little too late for my liking. Plus I would've liked more from the supporting characters. I love the guys, Brenna and Libby, so I would've liked to see them play a bigger role.

Very enjoyable.
Fun banter and a slow burn.
I’m enjoying this series and loving this group of guys. I believe Jax’s book is up next and I’m here for it!
