felt like two books in one but not in a good way
large parts of the Elektra story were four or five stars but the rest was mostly two to three

I was pleasantly surprised by this story of Electra. She seemed to be the most misunderstood sister at first and I expecting great things. This story didn't blow me away as much as I was hoping to be honest, hence why it's not a full blown 5 stars. I loved the back story of Africa, and I was expecting Electra to go there at some point of the story and maybe meet someone there but instead finding her long lost family member in her home country and realising she was found there also was a little too... easy? Plus a little underwhelming for me personally I guess. It still made for a good story though, and I still enjoyed it.

These books are a joy to read. I instantly disliked Elektra from the previous books whe she would make appearances (visions of Naomi Campbell and her diva strops) and wasn't sure I would enjoy this one but I'm so glad I was wrong. Fabulous read.... bring on the 7th. I'll be sad when they're finished!
