This was a really fun book, with interesting questions I mostly have not, in fact, ever wanted to know, but only because I'd never thought of them before.

Thoroughly enjoyed Greg Jenner (Horrible Histories, You’re Dead To Me) answering these 50 history questions in his inimitable style. A bonus at the end was a discussion with Shappi Khorsandi, Janina Ramirez and Dan Schreiber. Nice one Greg!

This is definitely one of the best books I have read this year. I have read all of Greg's books, and personally this one is my favourite. The fantastic format means that this book is so accessible and has left me wanting to explore so much more about the questions answered! Greg's wit is also fantastic and really helps to make the writing relatable and intriguing. Definitely recommend to anyone interested in history, whether a beginner or an expert.
