Quite fast paced and skips over a lot of key moments, narrative jumps around quite a lot. Overall insightful though.

A little hard to read, not sure I liked the writer's style. Otherwise, awesome to get a little peek behind the dark sunglasses of the Iceman. Been a fan of Kimi since 2005, a little while after he joined Formula 1. He's always been my favorite because he doesn't play the media game and says exactly what he means. He's funny as hell, too. Best part of the book was right at the end where there's a list of Kimi's best quotes. Love this guy.

I enjoyed it. Smiled alot. And I really liked the writting style. Throughout the book I had a feeling like someone is telling me Kimi's life story because of the whole jumping from moment to moment in his life and not telling it chronologically. Photos are lovely addition to the story and they give that cherry on the top to understanding that he is a normal person just like all of us but maybe he has a little cooler job than most.

My second sport biography of the year and by some stretch the better of the two. A very readable volume, which successfully avoids the temptation to sort the memories into years and begin to list race results.

The book reads as a conversation between Raikkonen and the author, with occasional reminisces. It doesn't read entirely chronologically then, though it does mostly stay in sequence. It doesn't dwell on race results though, unless they're relevant to the greater story.

Raikkonen is a coy character so there aren't any great revelations, but quite a few amusing and entertaining stories from fun episodes. Occasionally theer's some depth to the story of his personal life but the author even says that it isn't really a topic of conversation Raikkonen wanted to engage in. The exception to this is the recount of when his father passed on, which is where Raikkonen does open up. The author does concentrate his time on the driver though, and interviews with other people are very fleeting, especially the one with Raikkonen's team principal, where the interview is cut short with not more that a 'Kimi-is-pretty-good' line or two.

On the whole, very well written, and very readable. I enjoyed it.
