I enjoyed this book a lot. I thought the characters were very real, and their struggles were delicately written. Basil and Derek's story unfolded at a perfect pace, and it felt like they both learned the things they needed to learn and gave each other the support they didn't know they were craving.

It was very average, I’m going to continue the series because I’ve started so might as well but I’m not that invested in it. It’s probably gonna be one of those books I kinda forget about rather quickly. I also spent way longer then I felt I should.
