Pure Desire: How One Man's Triumph Can Help Others Break Free From Sexual Temptation by Ted Roberts

While I highly recommend Ted Roberts and his curriculum, this book was a little cheesy at times. If your struggle with addiction to anything, this is a great place to start looking for answers.

Maybe 2.5 stars. Read as part of the Seven Pillars course.
It's got good material and covers the ground of the physiological and spiritual issues about sex addiction. But it's just brutally long and often meanders. It is in desperate need of editing. And the war stories started to wear a little thin. His exposition of Scripture is often poor as well (the story of Marah in Exodus wasn't about how the waters were a laxative, wth!). There are so many straightforward passages and examples in the Bible you don't need to torture other passages to prove your point. Meh. It became a frustrating read for me.
