Love the illustrations and short story about the author.

Beautiful illustrations.

The artwork is beautiful and the rhyme is simple and fun! Some parts had an odd tempo, but that's likely due to me not knowing the full song and rhythm.

Although it has been done before, sturdy, large pages give this rendition a boost above the others.

A nice version of the classic poem/song. Kids will enjoy discovering the verses they don't know.

Okay, so I always sang the song "Over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go" and it's "grandfather's house we go". I learned something from this book that I thought I could recite every verse. Christopher Manson does a fine job on his illustrations and his use of light, but I would have like to see a more Americana version of sketches. This slightly European flair just doesn't quite match the storyline for me.

I like the illustrations. They are good and add to the atmosphere of the poem/story/song.

A fun version of the traditional Thanksgiving song. Catrow's illustrations are a bit tamer than usual in this book.

There are a few illustrations in this one that are simply gorgeous. A lovely version of this verse/song.
