Dear Wyatt,
Here is my list of your transgressions:
- You don't just leave a woman for years and explain to her it's because she's 'high maintenance'. Maybe she is, in that case you have no business being in a relationship with her.
- You don't lock the woman you love for hours in a patrol car! You don't talk to her. You tell people not to talk to her... A relationship can't be built upon declarations of love alone, you need to trust and respect her too.
- And when she says someone is trying to kill her, you don't need to "waste" your precious cop resources on her. All you need to do is at the very least consider what she says if not take her seriously, because, well, maybe her life is on the line.
- Stop thinking everything can be solved with sex. Yes, you're a man, but it only fixes things in the surface and doesn't fix the root of the issue.

Blair was hilarious. Her train of thought was all over the place and she thought of the oddest things. I really liked the gum and notes on the window bit. That was priceless :)
One issue I had was that in her mind she was holding a grudge, and that she isn't ready to forgive yet etc. It really frustrated me when she let it all go. I was hoping for some passionate arguments but it never really happened. Maybe LH didn't go there because this was supposed to be fluffy and funny but in light of the seriousness of the situation, I would rather all the build up was for something to actually blow up, all fiery and explosive, but instead, it just sizzled out.
Wyatt I had a love/hate relationship with. Suffice it to say that just when warm up to him he did something to mess it up. I don't think he was nearly apologetic enough at the end.
But loved that we finally got the recipe for the bread pudding. :D When she talked about it is the last book it made me wish for the recipe.
Already guessed the identity of the killer early on. I kind of wished it was a bit harder as it can be fun guessing their identity. Still, it was no big deal as I didn't really read this book for the mystery. I wish there were more books, that this is the second and last makes me sad. :(

NOT ENOUGH GROVELING oh my god. Blair is great but JFC Wyatt says things he needs to CRAWL for and then he blames her for a situation that turns out to be his fault but again does not crawl!!!!!

I enjoyed this second installment to Blair and Wyatt's story as much as the first one. The strength of the characters, plot, unexpected twists and an HEA--- what more could I want? This fast paced read has many LOL moments, some tense ones and annoying ones when Wyatt is 'protecting' his future wife. Yes, it has a dated feel in some aspects, but I found plenty to enjoy.

Drop Dead Gorgeous is the sequel of To Die For and you should really be reading this duology in order. In this book, Blair and Wyatt are planning their wedding, but things don't go according to plan when Blair becomes the target of another killer.
I freaking love Blair and Wyatt 😂 Their banter is hilarious, always making me laugh out loud. I listened to this on audio and I actually really liked the narrator.
I forgot how much I love being inside Blair's unique mind. Her stream of consciousness kills me with laughter. Her inner monologue does get a bit repetitive, but it's never boring. I love how Wyatt knows exactly how to communicate with her. They're perfect for each other.
P.S. Wyatt and I need to have a conversation about why he doesn't know Buffy 😂
P.P.S. The ending with the notarized list of transgressions sent me 💀

Loved it. I needed a distraction this week, and Linda Howard always delivers. I find Blair highly entertaining, and of course I love Wyatt. I really enjoyed this two book series with them. A little more of a mystery, with a side of romance, which was totally fine with me.

This book would be a great summer beach read. It was light and fun (and spicy is spots), with a snarky heroine (Blair) and a hunky ex-pro football player/now cop as the love interest. A stalker is out to get Blair, who is getting married in 28 days and has no time to mess around with a would-be killer.
I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed it.

OK, it's been a while since I read this, but I remember being extremely annoyed by Blair, she is a very chick-lit-y character, unusual for Linda Howard. I also HATED what's his name, alpha-guy, and his planet-killing giant SUV and fridge-temperature air conditioning.
