Code Name: Revenge is a friends-to-lovers romantic suspense story. Dozer's usually the guy who stays behind in his tech lab, giving mission support and creating some of the security products that keep everyone else safe ont he job, but when his best friend out of Jameson is threatened by the Russian mafia he knows he's going to have to put his own life on the line to keep Jessica and her daughter safe.

But sitting safely back at the Jameson HQ while Dozer risks his life for her? Yeah, Jess isn't OK with that plan at all...

Code Name: Revenge is a fairly quick read--it's only about 200 pages long--so Ms Bennett has to pack a lot into a shorter page count. The result is both sweet and sexy, with edge-of-your-seat suspense that keeps you turning the pages until you get to the much-earned HEA. I loved Dozer, Jess, and Thea (OMG, when they go to Disney at the end? The. Best!) and it wasn't hard at all to root for them all to defeat the bad guys and find their way to happiness at the end.

This book is the 9th (and I think, second last?) book in Ms Bennett's Jameson Force Security book, but it should work just fine as a standalone if needed. Fans of the series will see many of their favorites here--both in small and larger roles--but the events of this story don't require any prior knowledge of the series to enjoy.

What can you expect with a Code Name novel - plenty of action that will have you on the edge of your seat, workplace camaraderie, loyalty and strong bonds. Along with every SB book, there will be an adequate amount of intimacy to keep the romantics happy, me included. Therefore it’s no surprise that this story has all of these factors.

Dozer Burney is a smart man, some would say a genius and this is why he is pivotal to the Jameson team. He along with Bebe have created some very high tech devices to keep the team members safe. Never did he think he might need any of them as he’s not a field agent but he’d do everything to keep his best friend Jess safe. She was a key witness to put away a Russian mafia member for life on murder charges, so when he escapes, he won’t be friendly when he catches up with her.

From the get go, Dozer’s focus is to only keep his girls- Jess, her daughter Thea and her mother Claire safe and will go to extreme measures to achieve that goal. I am always perplexed as to why some characters feel the need to insert themselves in the dangerous situations, when clearly it’s unsafe and more of a hindrance but I appreciate their passion and devotion. And I’m glad things didn’t end badly in this case. I love the intricate levels of these books, the action and love story are the key elements for me. Dozer has had a thing for Jess since he met her back in college but fate wasn’t on his side and now years later he can’t think of anything but being with her. Despite the fact, there’s more to their tale, and one I recommend you read.

I think of this one as a fast paced read on an afternoon. I just didn't vibe with it 100%. Felt like Dozer and Jessica got involved too fast and Granted Dozer and Jessica previously knew each other but I feel like a lot of story was missing overall because it was more telling in a conversation with other people. I'm still going on with this series.

Narrators Sean Crisden (I loved his narration), Adenrele Ojo (a few times she seemed to over due it for me, but overall good).

I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I have been (impatiently) waiting for Dozer’s book, and it did not disappoint. Friends to lovers with the Russian mafia after you…what could be better? Okay, probably a lot in real life, but this book couldn’t have been better! I loved the main characters, beloved and new side characters who I fell in love with too, and edge of my seat suspense too! This series is just *chef’s kiss* perfection!

Code Name: Revenge is the 9th and next to the last book in the Jameson Force Security. This is Dozer Burney and Jessica Anderson’s story. Dozer now works for Jameson Force Security and he works closely with Bebe Grimshaw.

Dozer has been friends with Jessica for years. Her deceased husband was Dozer’s best friend too. Dozer learns that Jessica’s life is in
danger and he rushes in to save her and her daughter. A benefit for working for Jameson is that it is Dozer's family and they take care of their own.

Another very enjoyable book by Sawyer Bennett. It was like going home reading this book because she brings out all of my favorite characters. She writes books that are full of entertainment. They are suspenseful, romantic and sexy.

There is only one more book in this series and it’s Kellen McCord’s turn and I for one won’t miss Code Name: Omega!

Sawyer Bennett can write in any genre!

I really enjoyed Dozer and Jessica's emotional and thrilling romance! Dozer and Jess have been friends since college. When Jessica became a single mom, Dozer was there for them both. When she got mixed up with a dangerous man, she testified against him, sending him to prison. Now he has escaped and is out for revenge. Dozer will do anything he can to protect the woman he has always secretly been in love with. With the help of his family at Jameson Security, and his estranged father, both Dozer and Jessica finally admit their feelings for each other and begin to imagine a future together. But before they can do that, they must put their lives on the line to catch a killer before he catches them. This fast paced story, with it's twists and turns, took my breath away and had me completely riveted. I loved both Dozer and Jess, they are both smart, protective, and passionate, and are perfect together. I also loved catching up with all the men and women in the Jameson family as well. This is another captivating, heart-pounding, and steamy romance in the Jameson Force Security series.

The thrill is back. Code Name: Revenge dares to be unpredictable. Bennett keeps senses on high alert with an edge of the seat adventure that threatens to burst into flame. Jessica and Kynan are always one step ahead of emotions. From intrigue to temptation there's never a dull moment when you dive headfirst into love.

Oh my! This series just keeps getting better!! All of the suspense and sexy times you come to expect from Sawyer. I was not disappointed at all. Read this baby in one sitting, could not put it down. I love Dozer and Jessica, they are the hot couple that lusted after each other privately for years before finally admitting to their true feelings. Such an amazing story!!

Code Name: Revenge
Jameson Force Security, Book 9
By: Sawyer Bennett
Narrated by: Sean Crisden, Adenrele Ojo

It's so good to be back with the Jameson Force Security crew and I am so happy to finally get Dozer's story! He is one I have been interested in, the computer nerd and I couldn't wait to see who would steal his heart. And who knew it would be someone he has known forever? Jessica has been part of a trio of friends and he was the odd man out. But the best friend relationship has surpassed and grown deeper over the years, as Jessica raises Thea. Now as danger has come to Jessica, full force, Dozer comes to her aid. But will it be soon enough? What a fun and exciting story! Dozer is a protector, and literally tries but fails at hiding his true feelings.Jessica is a warrior! I love her spirit and fierceness, doing her best to keep not only her daughter, but Dozer safe. Plus we get an array of interesting secondary characters, like Dozer's dad and Jessica's mom. Could there be a spark there? And as always, I love coming home to Pittsburgh to see all the familiar people and their true loyalty to each other. Love, love, love this story!

To make it even better, we have Sean Crisden and Adenrele Ojo bring this gem to life. Crisden has a voice that melts my heart, but he also can add that provocation of anger and fierce protectiveness. I love it! Ojo compliments his voice as Jessica, bringing true love, motherly instinct and incredible strength to her character. This team is perfect for these characters and made the listen.
