I wish it was longer so we could learn about the characters a little more. We hardly learnt anything about the MMC other than he lives alone and is desensitized to violence, while the FMC has no family and is severely abused. It's a good story, it just needs more detail.

ARC Review: READ YOUR TRIGGER WARNINGS!!
I was a bit nervous to read this. It was definitely more triggering for me than other dark romance books. I won’t spoil the storyline, but I had to know how this book ended and it kept me reading. The spice was very much there and the ending was probably the best outcome I could have imagined given the circumstances. A solid 3.5 stars for me, mainly due to those triggers. If you are into dark reads, you will enjoy this book.
