It was a pamphlet and therefore did not deliver into the topic in depth, which was a failing IMO. Many of the claims about classical education need to be backed by statistics and data, or they come across as "appeal to the ancients."

The Latin section was confusing because the author did not seem to me to give adequate reasoning for how Latin helps the student develop analytical skills.

Also, there was a section on "vanilla education." While I agree with some of the rhetorical goals, vania does not mean flavorless, and the use of this term felt like idetity politics/intentional othering.

I would have rated it higher had themes been more developed and backed by actual research and not just opinions.
