Not Dahl’s best story, I must say.

Fantastic book for kids! So imaginative and creative. Easy read that children will find delightful!

Roald Dahl is always brilliant! His stories and rhymes are fun and entertaining! Some of my all time favorites!! Such a great way to entertain children and get them interested in reading!

Had fun reading this one with Sabrina - very simple and predictable, but with a good children’s book rhythm and format and a villain centered in a way that was enjoyable.

I love reading the Enormous Crocodile. I'm still working on perfecting my voices for all of the characters. Young kids love this one too (3-5). It's easy to understand, it's not too long & it's very silly. Perfection!

I don't think I've ever read anything by Roald Dahl that I didn't like. I am thrilled that my soon to be 4 year old daughter is now old enough to hear his stories at bedtime. We started with the Enormous Crocodile because it was short, illustrated, and new to us (the parents). It was a great read-aloud book! Our daughter wanted to know what would happen next and really enjoyed the story of the wicked crocodile on the hunt to eat up small children. A solid introduction to quirky stories and great writing!

This was cute and totally Dahl. The croc is hungry and just wants some food.... which is children! The animals help save all the unsuspecting kids from a murky doom.
