Pacing was a little off. Very sad but decently well written book.

The second book in the series dragged a little more for me. There was a lot going on, but it was in fits and starts, leaving places where it seemed nothing was going on. I was inspired enough to finish the series so I would have put it around 3.5 stars if possible.
