Wow, what a rollercoaster this book has been! I feel extremely sorry for the women of cell 52, and the other Baladiyat inmates. I can't imagine how horrible it must've been like!

However, the reason I'm not giving more stars than 3.5 is because I felt the book sometimes got boring and was less encouraged to finish. My favourite chapters were the authors note, and chapter 9. It's also a bit sad we don't know what happened to Samara..😔 And just like Mayada, leaves us just as worried. May Allah keep their souls safe🤲🏼

My final conclusion is that it was an interesting book to read, and gives an insight of a country very different of my own. I don't regret reading :)
