It was nice to see Sara and Henry's story, but I somewhat feel like it was just another, older version of the first two books in the series. There was lots of love throughout the book, but it was very slow. I didn't feel like much happened. There wasn't much action until the end. The love story is nice and Henry is a wonderful character but I wish there was more that was happening.

this was a slow burn and definitely more romancey than the last 2 but it was still SO. GOOD.

I was excited to be jump back into this series in audio and tell the back story of Sarah and Henry. This story is a prequel to the first two book in the story and is captivating time travel romance. I could not get enough of Sarah and Henri’s timeless romance, full of angst, tension and intrigue. I can’t wait to see how their story concludes after that cliffhanger.

Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East narrate this book in duet. We get the story from Sarah’s point of view and Samantha does a lovely job of portraying the anguish her character has with her abilities and the feelings she is trying to fight for Henri. Shane East does an amazing job portraying Henri’s protectiveness and jealousy throughout his dialogue in the story. Together these two show the chemistry between Sarah and Henri and I’m looking forward to listening to the conclusion of their story! Thank you to Elle and Valentine Pr for an audio copy!

ignore my poor rating of intersect. this saved the series. this is infinitely better than parallel and intersect. henri and amelie are insanely funny, beautiful, amazing people who make my heart swell. the story is infinitely more interesting and AWESOME AND I LOVED IT SO MUCH I WILL NEVER NOT THINK ABOUT IT

6/14 reread: i refuse to hear any negativity towards this book. No criticism. it is just perfect. henri is perfect. everything is gooey buttery beautiful perfect. this reminded me of just how I almost gave up on this series after intersect and I could’ve been living a life so unaware of a universe where henri and amelie exist. I love you guys!!!! you’re my family!!!!

Excusez-moi, that ending?! This was my fave book of the series so far. I love Amelie and Henri together, even the “enemies to lovers” vibe they had going on. I was so happy when they finally realized how they felt!! I also adore Marie-Therese!! That cliffhanger has me anxious, though!! Fantastic characters and story - can’t wait for the next one!!! 4.5 stars!! ✨✨✨
