💔

Eden has changed beautifully - becoming every bit the warrior she wished to be.

In this book, we see the crashing, the repairing, and then the devastation of Eden's relationships - both romantically and platonically.

Truth be told, I feel devastated myself. What do you mean the third book to this Trilogy isn't out yet? And this book ended on a cliffhanger like THAT?! What do you mean this is how I start my 2025 reading marathon off?!

This read has been a roller coaster in the best and most unfathomable way. Hearts have been broken, they have been mended, they have been crushed. My own heart hurts for Dom and the fragility of the relationship they were forming, only for it to be exposed in such a way so early on.

Eden is a quiet protector, suffering the guilt of doing what she thought could keep her loved ones safest. Her biggest downfall: not letting those loved ones in on her thought process. Instead allowing her protection to look more like betrayal and feel every single bit of it.

My heart hurts. My eyes hurt. Day Death may have happened 5 years ago, but Ddomsday is looming on a knifes edge.

To be completely honest, I have no idea how she is going to repair the chasms that have been created... How she will bridge across them and reach the ending she deserves. But I cannot wait to find out.

Don't break my heart too much Rebecca Quinn. I don't think I have the same kindness as Beau, the same understanding as Jasper, the same unquestioning faith of Jayk, the silent approval of Dom, and definitely not the resilience of Lucky.

I am hoping beyond hope that this series ends with a happily ever after.

I DEVOURED all 700-ish pages of this book. Like, I neglected all my responsibilities for the 3.5 days it took so I could read this non-stop. Which is kind of crazy because I stopped halfway through the first book for a few months and almost DNF’d as I wasn’t particularly invested in the characters yet. But that definitely changed in the second half of Ensnared and I dove right into Entangled immediately after finishing the prior book.

So much action, romance, humor, SMUT (oh god, so much delectable smut!) and it was really well written to top that off. I honestly didn’t catch any spelling or grammar errors which is a huge feat for an indie published book.

Ugh, I can already tell this is going to give me a hangover and I’ll be thinking about it until Entwined comes out. Miss Quinn, you have earned a lifetime reader!

I read a book roughly every day or every two days, and it has been a long time since a book gave me a book hangover of this magnitude.

But this one managed to do it.

Amazon said this was book 2/2, so I went into it expecting all of the tension of Book 1 to be resolved. The girl gets saved, the relationships get sorted out, the home is rebuilt.. we done, right?

I WAS SO WRONG!!

This is actually book 2 of 3, so it also ends on a cliffhanger. And between resolving Book 1’s cliffhanger and setting the stage for Book 3, the author masterfully builds so much tension while simultaneously making us fall head over heels in love with Eden’s five men all over again.. this time in new and exciting ways.

So many new. And exciting. Ways. Y’all the spice was SPICIN in this one.

I also deeply enjoyed the exploration of mental health, and how the men cared for and supported Eden as she struggled with her choices so far.

And let’s just say… Beaumont Bennett can play doctor with me any time.

4.5/5 🌶️

how am i supposed to get over this? hands down one of the best books i’ve read this year, if not my favorite.

ensnared was one of my top reads of 2023 so there's no need to tell you how much i looked forward to reading its sequel. there was no question in my mind whether it would be as good, i trust rebecca's talent. but damn, i did not anticipate that it would blow away all my expectations! book 1 was mostly an introduction to this world and the characters, and it ended in a cliffhanger. in this book, the stakes get higher as new characters join in the story. some that you will love, some that you will hate, and some that you will wonder whether to trust or not. but the main focus always stays on eden and her men.

when i say you go through all the emotions in this book, i mean it. i cried and laughed. i was angry, anxious, relieved, shocked, delighted and frustrated along with the characters. rebecca has such a way with words that makes you feel deeply and intensely! it was a rollercoaster of emotions and i enjoyed every minute of it.

you get to see new sides to each character in entangled. they go through huge growth and changes, dom and jayk in particular. the way rebecca handled the mental health aspect of this story was beautiful and very touching. eden has to deal with a lot of trauma, but she can count on her brutes to be there for her.

in ensnared, my favorites were lucky and dom. this time, it was jayk and dom, but honestly, each of them had their time to shine and showcase their different personalities.

it goes without saying that this book was very spicy, as can be expected from rebecca's books. there are 82 pages (that's 5 chapters) of non-stop delightful smut , and that's not even all of it. and it's very quinnky.

i absolutely recommend this book if you liked ensnared!

read this book if you like:
- why choose
- post-apocalyptic
- bdsm
- m/m in the harem
- found family
- military men
- bromance
- angst
- mental health rep
- female friendship
