He aprendido cosas *interesantísimas*, pero me lo he tardado mucho en leer (lectura transversal) por lo denso y técnico que podia llegar a ser.

a pop anthropology book with outdated research, fucked up notions re: polyamory, completely ignoring trans people, lgb people, nonbinary people, and asexual/aromantic people. Like...seriously? This book reads like a 1950s era psuedoscience book.

When this book wasn't making me roll my eyes at its obviousness, it was angering me with its logical fallacies, gross generalizations, sexism, and heterosexual. Yes, I hated it.

Very interesting look into the science and psychology behind love! Fisher's writing was clear and concise yet still entertaining--a real acheivement for a nonfiction boom.

Another book I read for research on my English paper. I did find this book fascinating. I read this book mostly because Fisher does some interesting research suggesting that there is an "extra bit of DNA" in some, but not all, of us that makes us monogamous. This was interesting information to include in my polyamory paper.
