The new Loki looks like a combination of a young John Travolta and Christian Slater. Weird.

This is a looooot of fun! There were definitely some references to other comic runs or events happening alongside this story that went straight over my head, but this characterisation of Loki is a riot and I'm mostly managing to follow along and enjoy the ride.

Never actually read the kid Loki stuff because it still seemed too entwined in the overall Marvel universe for my personal taste but this seems like it will be a nice limited run story that blends Marvel Loki with myth Loki in a fun and interesting way. I especially like the focus on stories and how there are different version of him that he can change with his actions and how he fits into the story etc. Definitely a good read if you're more of a myth Loki fan but sometimes have to dip your toes into the Marvel end of things due to lack of other content ;)

This is a very good very story for Loki, the God of Mischief. Here he's mysterious, sexy, cunning, and a Bond-esque agent. Al Ewing used enough mythology, quirky 'gadgets', and introduced new characters that I love in spy novels. Then there's Lee Garbett who did a solid sexy version of Loki which made me wanting more of action scenes and some high-stakes emotionally charged save the woman save the world mission; I'd love to see a romantic Loki. Nolan Woodard made sure the colors are serious but magical and Clayton Cowles kept the texts coherent. I'm never a fan of villains being turned to anti-heroes and given a lead character treaatment but, like what Thor said, this is a different Loki. I will be honest by crediting Tom Hiddleston for being charming (plus his Night Manager role) and those Loki Disney+ series writers for well-written redeemed Loki. I'm looking forward for more of this iteration of Loki and I probably need to revisit Kid Loki because last I read him was in a Young Avengers run years ago.

I can't resist a sassy Loki. And I love that he's trying to redeem himself in this series.

É bom o quadrinho, mas eu acho que realmente não foi para mim. Dá pra perceber que foi bem feito, só que eu acho que eu deveria estar mais dentro do universo da Marvel para compreender mais.
