At first I thought that Blanca was replaced by a robot(she was not lol) but as the story kept going I was surprised by how engaged I was with the meandering story. I did like the discussion about class between the lines. The story has a lot of visual story telling, for a lot of the past boyfriends, it was really easy to visualize them and their personas.

Mario the bureaukrat pretends to like the avantgarde and high brow art because he is obsessed with his beautiful, sophisticated wife. And he will do anything to keep her. But one day she's left him, and is replaced by another Blanca. She looks the same, but is much more agreeable. The story is circular and a maze.
