I loved this book! It was super interesting and the characters were great. However, there were a couple things I did not like. For example, the main character has a crush on another character while still having a boyfriend and worrying that he is cheating on her. I also never truly understood the power of show-not-tell until this book. In this book, one of the characters just says that they were struggling with the stigmatization of mental illness, and it felt corny and cheap. Overall, I thought this was a great book. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a summer read set in Greece with a little bit of depth to it.
Graphic: Mental illness
Moderate: Infidelity, Panic attacks/disorders, and Medical content
Minor: Miscarriage
