One of my favorite reads I have been coming back to for years! I definitely have my complaints (I don't love Brooke's character, and honestly Remy has some problematic moments, but it's for the plot). But it really is a romantic read, and has elements of a romantic partner who struggles with mental health issues. VERY steamy book, but very sweet wholesome moments sprinkled in there as well. One of my favorite parts about this book is the emphasis on music! Remy and Brooke swap headphones often and play each other songs from real life as their own little secret way of communication. It's so fun to listen along with them in real life, and Katy includes a playlist list for the songs to go with the book. Iris by Goo Goo Dolls is an important one. Love it.
