Hooks, twists, surprises, humor, and a reminder that sometimes finding the truth doesn't always lead to a happy ending.

I really enjoy this series. It's kind of like old school James Patterson Alex Cross novels, with a sports twist.

It took me so long to read this book like almost a month but that wasn’t because of it i was just not in the mood to read so i took a break from reading and yesterday i decided to continue to read the novel (i was at the page 140) and here i am finishing it, may i just say : oh my god !!!
It was just so good even the end i was so not expected that i didn’t knew who it was until the end and i was like ???? And that is Harlan Coben’s power, he knows how to keep you not knowing a thing until you cross the last page and i love that!

I like Coben. His stand alone thrillers entertain without challenging. But I never fancied the Bolitar books. Picked this up on audiobook and, after a shaky start where I thought Myron was going to be just too much of a smartarse, I enjoyed it enough to maybe pick up the others in the series. There are too many coincidences and it reads like the plot has been meticulously worked out and the somewhat two dimensional characters layered on top but it passed the time on long car journeys. And I did like Win but he is no Joe Pike...

The little kiss of romance was not disliked. Another great one and appreciated that this story ended in not so picture perfect way.
