This was such a delightful, witty and fun read! I listened to the audiobook and found myself chuckling throughout. As someone who also keeps a gratitude journal (I guess we do start that in our 40s), I found it utterly relatable. I loved Nell's relationship with Cricket and how it not only blossomed but gave such loving and valuable knowledge to Nell on life and love, as well as to the reader! I felt very invested in what would happen to Nell and where her love life was going to end up!

A brilliant read, especially for those of us veering awfully close to 40 and unsure on where exactly the wheels fell off the bus, and with no idea how to change a tyre. Funny, insightful, heartwarming, and fun.

This is a very solid book. Nice beach read. Or a nice “man I’m sad and need something uplifting that isn’t nauseating” type of book.

Just finished it and loved it. Very entertaining, especially the audio book version.
