I think this was a great book for it's target audience. It has a moving story, great art, and is a bunch of fun! Target audience is 2nd-3rd graders but it's a fun fast read for all.

A classic moving to a new home and school story with a twist of space thrown in. Zack learns to adjust to new social customs on his new planet while enjoying the perks of space age technology just like the Jetsons. A higher quality young fiction title with smooth plotline and writing. A perk for this genre.

Very much the start to a a series that lays the foundation for future stories by introducing the protagonist and his world, it also tells the extremely relatable story of moving to a new town and school. Zack is sad to be leaving behind his friends and everything he knows and is very scared he won't be able to fit in or make friends at his new home. The rest of his family may be excited to be moving to the planet Nebulon for his dad's new job, but Zack sure isn't. Yet once they arrive he begins to learn that not only are his fears are unfounded, Nebulon has many exciting positives that he ends up loving. The science fiction setting provides both an opportunity to play up how strange and foreign something new can feel and the ability to work in lots of fun, cool elements like flying cars, talking houses, and funny aliens. An excellent first entry for this series in the beginning chapter book category.

Very fun and imaginative. I'm reading these to my 5 year old at bedtime and he can't wait for more Zack stories every night.

This book is cute for 6-7 year olds. It's about a boy from earth who moves to the planet Nebulon. I'm sure your kids will love this story.

Do our beginning boy readers need more fabulous choices?? You bet they do! And this one is a fabulous recommend for these readers! Yes, girls will enjoy it too - but I feel it's always trickier to get those boys on board!! It's funny - it's got great illustrations to keep the reading not as daunting - yep - start recommending it!!

I'm a beginner in English, so my English isn't very good yet. To change that, I read English books. Children's books are very suitable and that's how I found this series.
It was very easy to understand and even at the age of 41 I thought the first book was great. I am excited which way it will continue.
