I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish!!!! It had such an interesting hook from the get go and the episodic feel gave me Stark Trek vibes that made me so happy. There were times where I really disliked Noa but halfway through, I understood his character better and liked him more. The climax, twist, and ending of this book is really the star of the show tho. I can genuinely say I didn’t see any of it coming but was so enamored and entertained by it all. Very fun world building and plot. It’s also an interesting commentary on the “bury your gays” trope that I loved. I highly recommend this!!!
Graphic: Sexual assault, Sexual violence, Medical trauma, and Suicide attempt
Moderate: Gun violence and Trafficking
The sexual assault and violence is described from first person in a story setting as in “this is how I was sexually assaulted” so it’s explicit but not super graphic. The “trafficking” is complicated and not in the traditional sense but I feel it’s fitting
