Spoiler alert:

The dog dies. The wolves die. Not for me.

It's been years since I read this - but I loved it. It's a wonderful tale of love and loss - and wolves.

I thought I would love this since it is about wolves and Montana. I can't read any more, though. I think Evans spent more time describing people walking around rooms than actually talking about wolves. And since I'm giving up on it, I looked at some spoilers and, now that I've seen what happens next, I'm glad I'm quitting. This is simply not my kind of book. Obviously I need to go back to reading nonfiction wolf books, instead.
