A Sinner Saint HEA

Waverley and Xavier’s story picks up 5 years later. We find out what has happened and what brings these two back together again. Most of the book is action, with Waverley making Xavier try to win her back. These two deserve their HEA after all the obstacles in their way.

Probably my favorite series to date!

It really was great to see Waverly take on a whole new powerful role, and to see X step back and trust her to make the right moves.

This story line is a little far fetched because an actor turned spy is a weird and kinda annoying story line. I love Xavier’s love for Waverly, but I do agree that this story line could have been accomplished in one book.

After my mixed feelings regarding Crossing the Line, it did take me a while to finally pick this book up. I thought I wouldn't like it, or something would be missing like I felt in the first book. But boy was I wrong! I absolutely loved this book. My absolute favourite trope/thing is when the love interest pines after/loves the MC and is dedicated to getting them to reciprocate their feelings. And boy does Xavier pine. This book was, in my opinion, miles better than the first. The plot and pacing was done so much better, and I felt I needed to read the next chapter continuously. I love Xaverly and I am so glad they had their happily ever after, sad we don't see more of Xaviers family because they were so fun to read about. But absolutely loved this book! And it definitely makes the series worth the read.

YES! Waverly and Xavier finally got their HEA. At first I wasn't sure I'd be that into it, the whole "she's a spy" thing felt kind of farfetched but then Lucy built the story so well it really came together about halfway through the book for me. I'm so glad Waverly made Xavier work to earn her trust and be with her because the way he left her in book one was horrifying. It felt realistic in it's emotional range and I really enjoyed reading it.

I LOVED the first book and ran to the Kindle app to download this one. While I'm not sure I would have carried the story on for a second book, I'm glad Lucy Score did.

Both characters had a lot to learn about themselves before they could be happy together. My biggest complaint, and it's the same as the first book, is that I want more of X's story. I want to know what he did during those 5 years and not just an overview.

But honestly, it was still a great book with some action and suspense and lots of spice.

This second part was even better than the first! The plot amped up with some action and adventure. Again, the way the settings and actions were described were so realistic, it felt like being there. The ending did not disappoint and it was one of my favorite endings of most Lucy books. It was grand without being overstated. Absolutely loved the Sinner and Saint series!
